Girls’ Scrunchie Upcycling Workshop
At a workshop with VluchtelingenWerk, a group of girls turned old dresses into colorful scrunchies. With needles, thread, and lots of excitement, they learned their first hand-stitching steps while transforming fabric scraps into something they could proudly wear. What started as old clothes quickly became bright hair accessories and big smiles.
Basic Sewing Workshop for Women
In another session with VluchtelingenWerk, women gathered around a table of upcycled fabric swatches to learn simple hand-sewing skills. As stitches slowly came together, so did conversations. Between threads and laughter, we even practiced a few Dutch words, turning the workshop into a warm moment of learning, creativity, and connection. 🧵✨
